Hi, I’m Gabby!
I’m glad you’re here 😄
You can read the nitty gritty details below about me and my music career thus far, but what I think is most important to know is how much I love making and sharing music with my community.
Though I’m originally from Nashville, East Tennessee has been the home that’s shaped my music career and I’m fortunate to have been performing as an accomplished vocalist and pianist for over 10 years. I perform with several local groups, including Geographical Oddity, am a recurrent guest soloist and chorister at different churches across Knoxville, Maryville, and Oak Ridge, a recurrent recording artist for the Hearts Sing! Chorus with Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., and a member of Knoxville’s Amadeus Concert Ensemble. I founded a treble voice choir and have participated in musical theater productions with Tennessee Valley Players and Foothills Community Players.
In addition to performing, I’ve been teaching voice and piano for almost a decade. I’m an adjunct music instructor at Walters State Community College, voice and piano teacher at Knox Music Studios, and serve as a music director at St. John XXIII University Parish. Teaching has been an incredibly rewarding facet of my music career in which I’ve programmed and organized recitals, concerts, workshops, and other educational music events. I hold an M.M. in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from East Carolina University and B.A.’s in Music and Psychology from Maryville College.
As a hired vocalist and pianist, I’ve had the pleasure of performing at weddings, funerals, memorial services, receptions, anniversaries, and holiday parties. I have had incredible opportunities to perform in all kinds of fun locations from Knoxville and Atlanta to Philadelphia, Albuquerque, and even Arezzo, Italy! I continually strive for versatility in my musicianship with a range of experience in opera, sacred music, musical theater, jazz, pop, rock, and folk & bluegrass. I love making and sharing music with my community and will leap at any opportunity to sing, play, and collaborate with other musicians!
